My professional experience relies on Brazilian Archaeology and Indigenous History, regionally focused in the amazon and southern coastal and valley regions. My academic formation has been strongly marked by an interdisciplinary approach between Archaeology, Anthropology, Indigenous History and Historical Ecology, which together build the bases for my main research interests in topics such as indigenous identity and resistance in south America; construction of collaborative community archaeological practices; indigenous women and gender relations; territory and environmental management; materiality, pottery and Amerindian technology.
